RFU Resources

The RFU, the governing body for rugby in England, has recently announced some packages to improve women’s and girls’ facilities at rugby clubs. These packages include provision for FREE PERIOD WEAR! How amazing is that? The second package is for renovations to women’s toilets - also, pretty amazing.

Anyone can apply so girls that means you! You might need someone more senior to sign on the dotted line but there’s nothing stopping you starting the conversation and getting the ball rolling.

The deadline for application is 31st January 2023 so it’s not far away.

This is a great move from the RFU as it shows a governing body valuing women and girls and understanding that periods are a part of women’s and girls’ lives. We now need more governing bodies taking note and acting to do the same with their sports’ clubs.
